Wat Er Life??

Dear Friends,
Todays blog is on water and it's 3 faces/ Phases. For me, Phase and face are same because, we human too undergo the same conditions. We do deal with Phases in life. It may be more philosophical this evening, but the truth revolves around understanding simple things in this complicated universe.

We know water can exhibit as Solid, Liquid and Gaseous Phase where they vary with respect to pressure and temperature.
Similarly, Even we are made up several phases, every second, every day, we change our color. Why? What makes us change? It often wonders me..
To this question, I was supposed to relax for a while and had a glass of water. This gave me a picture on how we treat the water.
In case of taking bath, we prefer Steam/ Hot Water.
In case of drinking, we prefer water at room temperature/ sometimes, we do prefer to have cold water.
In some cases, we prefer to add up ice on cola drinks.
Water is so humble and great as it can serve us in required form. If the same characteristic is followed up by a human being, we characterize him/her into a grey shade. Why do we do this? Aren't they phases of human life? We put him/her in radar which is around ego, whereas water doesn't have those restrictions/limitations.
Can water show us this ego? Or Is the characteristic of water is just the reflection on what you think? This question makes me understand how tough the life of water could be; In fact, water gives life to all living things. The answer for it's change of phase reminds me the mother's-kind of mother nature.


May sound irrelevant, but just try to think in this perspective.


As Human beings, we must learn few characteristics from water, be still and reflect the character of opponent. To be still, One must give up his/her ego. It's an uphill task to achieve this feat.
From physics perspective

The above diagram is a simple phase diagram of water system.
This diagram answers us how water can exhibit in all 3 phases.
We can have Water vapor at 225  K, and Ice at 650 K,  subjected to the conditions they are maintained at very low pressure (1Pa) and  very high pressure (1TPa) respectively. These 2 conditions are not ideal. To maintain these states it is difficult. There is one particular point, where water begins to exhibit in all 3 phases (Ice, Water, Vapor)  i.e., the dilemma of water itself at 273.16 K and 611.73 Pa.  This is the place, where the water has zero degrees of freedom. It can change easily into any form, by just varying the pressure/temperature.
So Far, it's idealistic characteristic


We can define The boiling point and freezing point of the system only at atmospheric pressure. In the above diagram, A tie line is constructed where the point at which the line meets at Ice-Water region indicates freezing point, and Water-Vapor Indicates Boiling point.

This reminds me a situation on how realistic the life is all about. Only when you take things by considering the atmosphere, we can say how exactly, water serves.
Now, water has to listen to temperature who is the only boss to report.

Bottom Line: When we can accept the faces/Phases of water and move on with it, why don't we accept the innocent intelligent human beings faces?
All these faces are due to some Phase transformation. The phase transformation may be due to several parameters. We can not justify why the transformation has happened. The Cause and effect for this complicated human life is unknown. It's better not to be in introspective mode.

Moral:
You need Water to Live; So lead life like Water.

Transitive Law - Zeroth Law of Thermodynamics - Holding Life Together

Good noon friends, The relationship between Mathematics - Physics - Chemistry (Pure Sciences) is come in hand together as all of them are interdependent. According to Mathematics, The transitive relation in equality, If A= B, and B= C, then C= A. This looks simple, but where is an example to it?? The example for most of the mathematical expressions are given by Physics, The Zeroth Law follows the above relation, Where it states that "When 2 systems are in contact with each other to another system, then all the three systems are in contact with one another" Which depicts the thermal equilibrium. On similar lines,we are always interdependent to ourselves,This Law reminds me 3 System that are in contact for human Life, Physical+Emotional+Mental. EXERGY IS WHAT WE MUST GAUGE!

Dear Friends, I have always heard that matching someone’s energy is tough/someone’s capability would be often referred to energy. I have heard few of my friends stating that, “It is tough to match energy of some great person”. It is not energy that we must look at. Now, I realized that exergy is the parameter which defines the ability of a person, it is not energy.  The total energy of the system is a combination of Exergy as well as Anergy. Exergy of a system is referred as the available energy to do useful work whereas the anergy deals with energy which does not produce useful work.  Most of us, use energy as a parameter to gauge the capability of a person/system. But due to conservation laws, we don’t get exact/ideal cases of a system. The moment we deal with exergy, it doesn’t obey conservation laws as it clear to states.
