I am not sure how business works, but today I have got a thought on interlinking the Business Cycle with LASER level system. Imagine, that there is a very good product which is manufactured by some company X, and if it has to be sold to customer, the product has to be marketed through a proper channel. If the company X ignores marketing it then the product appears to be a flop. There should be a marketing team in between Customer and Manufacturer. Now we have 3 level system, even then Meeting Sole Manufacturer and getting it may be difficult as the SUPPLY- DEMAND ratio might be high, so there might be delay in delivery of the product. In case, if he has another distribution section, the managing the crowd would be easier. That's how the four level LASER system works.
Let me explain this further in detail.
2 level laser system: Theoretical, it's possible but practically we can not achieve this state as the population levels match up soon after excitation and De-excitation. Similarly, as i said earlier, Without marketing the product,selling the product is practically impossible.
3 Level LASER system: This can be achieved but the energy required to hold photons in meta stable state is high. Similarly, the case where soon after appointing a marketing manager, there is a huge supply - demand, in order to maintain the profit, business has to be expanded to another level, else, the company would always be under pressure.
4 Level LASER system: This is system has a meta stable state and a radiative decay state, in between these states the photons are actually emitted, compared to 3 Level, the energy required to maintain this system is less. Except Ruby LASER, the very first LASER (3 Level) all others are 4 Level laser system.
The intermediate state between meta stable and radiative state indicates the photonic emissions which is true even to account for the end user product sales.
Bottom Line: Business and Science are co-related to each other. Interlinking them is tough to understand, but the Light shows us, the way in interlinking Business & Science.
Moral: People from commerce should not think science is a difficult subject. Science is a subject which is a reflection of commercial events of life..
