Bonding and their Chemistry
Dear Friends,
Today is the day for love, where we see people being so romantic, the chemistry between couples is found to be on higher amplitude, their bondage seems to remain for eternity. If this is true then there must something behind this... The way we get into this relationship is based on our destiny. Where as, in view of atoms, it is to form a happy stable life. Isn't that matching with our human life? Even we get into bonding to form a life which keeps us stable. Since we are all made up of atoms, we must ensure that we have high stability in relationships.
The two basic bonds often strike me when ever I think about relationships. Ionic and covalent bonds play a vital role which gave me some insights on bonding. Similarly, there are two ways of having stable relationship,
1) Surrender or 2) Sign a treaty.
Surrender ---- Ionic Bonding
It is known that it is very difficult to dissociate a person who has completely surrendered himself for his stable life. We humans are crazy, egoistic and we never understand why surrendering ourselves to the most beloved person is important. We are are scared, afraid as we feel that the moment you are surrendered we are taken for granted. We are dominating, we are selfish and we begin to treat the surrendered one as slave. Yes, These are the feelings which run when "Surrender" comes into picture. Why can't we take things like Jig-Saw puzzle? Where we try to fulfill the unfilled gaps? These things question me a lot. These unwanted emotions in life are like salt added in a sweet. Salt is made up sodium and chlorine, look at their understanding and romance, sodium has an electron more and chlorine has one electron less, the sodium gives up for chlorine which keeps them intact together. We must learn a lot from it. The large difference between their electro-negativity defines their romance. Sodium surrenders itself for sodium in this case. This is truly romantic.
Sign a treaty ------- Covalent Bonding
This is the best one to go with when you always try to follow up with any relationships. This mutual understanding and mutual benefits doesn't work for long time, but they are needed to maintain peace and stability. Sharing makes people caring and which appears daring for all darlings. This is the beauty of understanding in a relationship. The oxygen what we inhale is based on this concept, where one oxygen atom has shared its valence electrons with another oxygen atom. They have a beautiful understanding because their electro negativity is not much of difference. This makes them stable. If their electro negativity is not almost the same, then lets go back to an instance which occurred 90 years ago...
The letters which were interchanged by Miss Duncan and Mr. Bernard Shaw.
This conversation seemed to be an example for covalent bond which could not happen due to huge differences between them. In fact, if the proposal was much more pleasing to Mr. Shaw and if the lady Duncan had completely surrendered to him, there could be a possibility of acceptance (i.e.,due to ionic bonding).
Bottom Line:
If you are in a relationship/ if you are getting into an relationship, learn the art of bonding from the elements of periodic table, if you are able to understand the above table, then your it makes your life simple. You must know for certain cases where you go to be ionic and for certain cases you got to be covalent. The bondage completely depends on understanding the chemistry.

Miss Duncan wrote Mr. Shaw as follows: ‘My dear Mr. Shaw: I beg to remind you that as you have the greatest brain in the world, and I have the most beautiful body, it is our duty to posterity to have a child.’ Whereupon Mr. Shaw replied to Miss Duncan: ‘My dear Miss Duncan: I admit that I have the greatest brain in the world and that you have the most beautiful body, but it might happen that our child would have my body and your brain. Therefore, I respectfully decline.'
