Stress & Strain ..

Hi Friends,

This week I was completely STRESSED up because of the National Science Day Celebrations ..
Even then, I am STRAINING myself to write few co-relations in STRESS- STRAIN in life..

We often see people use the word STRESS, that too this month,(Financial Year End) makes all the employees feel the STRESS, Accounts branches do get Strained as they have to work a lot in this particular month.

A Student(say class 10, 12 ) who gets STRESSED up in this month as to STRAIN a lot and study for his board exams..
STRESS_STRAIN .. who are they?? where they come from?? How far the concept is connected to us??

"STRESS causes STRAIN"
The above quote is true, stress causes strain, but it depends how we take it..
To understand this, let me add up some more with a help of Stress-Strain diagram

The above images co-relate the stress strain behavior.

There are few things which we need to understand from the above diagram.. The linear portion in the stress strain curve speaks about Elastic region, Where the material retains its original shape, and there is a phenomenon resilience which is the ability of a material to absorb energy when it is deformed elastically, and release that energy upon unloading. When the curve is parallel to Strain, then it attain Plastic region, where the retention of original shape is not possible, i.e., Material undergoes deformation, Finally, at one point the material Undergoes Fracture.
In Similar manner, We do experience the Stress strain curve in our day to day Materialistic life..
Say, for example,
If you are forcing some one to work a lot for you, i.e., beyond his capability, there is a chance where the work from the person is not satisfactory ( Plastic Deformation) and if you force him much, finally he will say THANK YOU Boss and walk away from you ( Fracture)..
Suppose if you make him work on the basis of capability, he remains with us, and the possibility of task done is assured. (Elastic Nature) and what ever you do, that person is Resilient to you..

Moral of The Story :
Each material is different and it has its own stress- strain condition which is true in case of human beings.
It is also a very great lesson in terms of relationship, where we are not supposed to go mushy on people that again makes that person go away from you and if you still continue to do that, Then I can assure you that finally there is a failure in that relationship (TRUE INSTANCES MAKES ME SPEAK)...

Ultimately, what it also tells is that, Ensure that the stress you take up is with your reach, Do not go beyond the reach and try to do something, which may result in Failure..

Good Night ...
